"Government defines what an allowable marriage is..." exactly. as pointed out earlier, government once defined marriage as man and his property(wife). times changed, the defination changed. women's human rights were recognized. at one time marriage between races was not included in the definition. times changed, equality of rights for all races were recognized, the definition changed. it is now time to recognize that rights are not compromised by sexual orientation. "I disagree with you when you suggest that religion, culture, tradition or even personal feelings should not be taken into account in defining what constitutes marriage. Everyone's entitled to their views however they came to them." everyone is entitled to their views. everyone is NOT entitled to take away my or anyone else's rights because they don't like the way they have sex. rights are not subject to majority rule. according to our sacred documents they are inalienable and endowed by our creator.
