Canberra Chris Ozcatters meet @ the National @ Easter? (142* d) RE: Ozcatters meet @ the National @ Easter? 14 Mar 04

Yes, I'll be there of course. Sorry, been off air a bit, lead up to Easter just happens to be the nightmare work season for me.

I've got Bob's badge somewhere, now where did I ...

Shiny Bums didn't get up for the National this year, despite a great proposal, that included linking up with Victorian shiny bums Enda Kenny, Bruce Watson et al for a 'Chili Con Carnage' concert to include a re-write of 'South of the Border, on flexi-time pay', in a finale backed by the brass section of the Great Southern Band. It was actually meant for last year, but plans were interrupted by the 2003 firestorm. Miraculously the hut itself survived, though everything burnt up to its walls. We had bush dancing and an impromptu concert round the campfire. The plaque ironically also survived "The pine trees that beautify this picnic spot were planted by ..."
