Heather, I can't think of anything to say that hasn't been said better by other people here, but I just want you to know that Rick was one of the nicest, most approachable, and talented musicians I've known. His willingness to share his songs and guitar skills, his skill at wordsmithing a new song that sounds as old as the hills and, most of all, his friendliness and genuine enjoyment of making music with all of us made him a rare and wonderful man, and I'll miss him more than I can say.
