My condolences to Heather and to all who loved him. I spent an evening with Rick about 16 months ago and he seemed well on his way to recovery from the initial bout with cancer. He looked good, sounded great, and said that he was feeling better. I have special memories of the three times that Rick and I interviewed each other on our respective radio programs. The first part of this Thursday's edition of Folk Roots/Folk Branches on CKUT will be a tribute to Rick and include songs from all three of his CDs. It begins at 9:00 am (eastern). CKUT is broadcast in the Montreal area at 90.3 FM. The live stream is available at the Folk Roots/Folk Branches website.
