I have three to nominate- the Somers Traditional Club in Worcester on a Friday is very friendly and the number of excellent resident singers is amazing. They have a "chorus week" every other session which ensures everyone has a good sing! I also recommend the Durham Folk Clud at the Coalpitts Arms on tuesdays fortnightly which is a very good singaround club.

My main recommendation is the Gainsborough Club at the 8 Jolly Brewers by the Trent fortnightly on Fridays. An excellent (small) room, very good local singers with occasional guests, 8 real ales in good condition always on tap- what more could anyone want? And no-one was smoking when I last went.

Go yourself- but don't tell too many other people!
