My mum used to sing this; can only remember the chorus, and a few snatches of words. It's a gruesome little song, with a weirdly jaunty tune. "Shall I ever see thee more my dearest Fanny? The child that I most fondly did love Was slain and cut to pieces by a villain And now she's in heaven above."
