When this song was released in Brisbane, one of the local radio stations had a competition to identify the so-and-so, I can't remember what the winning suggestion was. I thought the whole point of the story was that the so-and-so was not identifiable. As far I was concerned I never tried to figure it out - it was just a great song. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
