well, second wave feminists were/are frequently accused of having no sense of humor because they refuse/d to laugh politely at misogynist humor... so i'll respect people's strongly held beliefs, and will refrain from flinging accusations of my own.

but gosh, is there anyone who wants to play with and enjoy this song, which is what the thread was for in the first place? or would we rather fight with each other? have i become an unwitting "troll", whose posts do nothing but sow discord and unhappiness? if this thread makes us unhappy, why are we reading and posting to it in the first place?

i'm gonna take my own implied advice, and read something else for a while.
