Making yourself look stupid provides joy and entertainment for those around you. It should be greeted with the same thanks and care as the daily good deed. Beer only helps us to be more giving.
Last Christmas I was picking up a not so well known friend from the airport. We went to opposite ends of the baggage terminal to look for a baggage cart. I found one first and headed back to the small croud of people waiting at the one baggage outlet. As my friend was still looking for a trolley I called out his name. He turned around just in time to see me take a small run up and lean to skid on my trolley. As there were no bags to balance my weight, the whole thing flipped up, landed on me and slid accross the floor with me between all the waiting passangers and their friends. I then had stand around with all these people and wait for his bag. It was a great experience for the two of us to get to know each other and provided a lot of joy for all the people around us. No beer needed. I am a better person for it.
