I think the left takes the side of the Palestinians because they are so obviously the losing side here; but I do agree that the left do not try and see it from the Jewish point of view. The lop-sided view of the Israel-Palestine issue does come dangerously close to anit-semitism. However, just one point Rabbi-Sol. If you kick people off their land so that Jews can settle there, it is not too surprising if the left rushes to the defense of the Palestinians.
