Hi all And of course, what is retirement for a folk singer / activist? Sure, when you retire from the Post Ofice, that's it, same with most professions - you just stop it completely. But when you're an artist or whatever you either stop it completely (usually unlikely unless something forces you to do so, such as health), or you sort of cut back. How many concerts a year does Pete do now? When was the last time he toured and recorded like he did 40 years ago? Retirement for him I think, will be just a few less concerts or events than now. Almost it's a way of letting people know that he'll say "yes" less often than before. Until he can't speak or pay the banjo he'll be there doing what he's always done, just less of it. And I'm sure he's aware that if you don't use it, you lose it.
