The second annual NorEast'r folk festival will be held in N.E. Lower Michigan (near Mio) on June 11 - 13.

Richie Havens will be the featured performer this year. Two stages and lots of music and dancing workshops.   For a complete list of performers check out the webpage:

I will be camping there for the three days and would like to get together with any other Mudcat's in the area.   Our band the, Posey Lake Akademy will be playing on Saturday afternoon. We will also be hosting a pennywhistle, bodhran, and uke workshops.

I should be easy to find as I'll will be camping in the Akademy Bus ~ a 1952 Ford F5 Stubby School bus (probably the only one in the world) that has been converted into the Band Bus (white with black lettering). If you go to the website click on PERFORMERS and you can locate our group sitting in front of the bus.

It should be a lot of fun sorta back in the sticks.
