I'm still hanging in there. I wasn't going to give an update until I had gone without for a significant length of time. It is now 8 days and I'm feeling OK so far. My sense of smell has returned and now my incentive is that I never want to smell like the smokers I live and work with. Thanks again for all the advice and good wishes, I will refresh this thread again in six months time when I will feel that I have achieved something worthwhile. Cheers, Melodeon
