YES- DEFEND THE BANJO
As a banjo player (with more enthusiasim than skill)I get lots of fun
picking away - so what's the problem. Other folks have hobbies that can, and do, annoy me but life's too short to worry about things like that.
I don't mind the jokes and some are actually quite funny.
What I can't stand are those musical snobs who think their instrument is the only instrument or their style of music is the only stlye.
Live and let live.

I can't believe that this thread has produced such a response in such a short time. Have some folk nothing better to do with their time?
