I'm heading down there again this Friday for 3 weeks, and I'll be in Copenhagen at the start and the end of the tour. I'll find out about 'The Purple Door', see if it still is in existence, and post back here. As for the toungue surgery, Amos..., I well understand. There is an observation other Scandinavian people have about their Danish siblings; that they speak as if they had a potato stuck in their throats. Christiania isn't what it used to be anymore, unfortunately, and it looks as if it; one of Køben's main visitor attractions, is set to be closed down at some stage in the near future. But if you are going to be staying in Vesterbro, Skarpi, perhaps I should mention to you that you will be in the heart of the 'Red Light' district; a very colourful and lively place. You will never be short of places to go, and things to see here. I love Copenhagen. Love the place, love the people, love the vibe. And just like Chicago.... it's my kind of town... B.
