Mine is The Dubliner Folk Pub in Oslo where I live. Well, I don't live in the pub, but... I first went there after being recommended it by my dad, and I instantly felt at home there. They have live Irish music every weekend, and I started going to hear the bands. After a while, I was tole there were sessions there on Saturdays, and I started going. Mind you, it took me almost a year to muster up the courage to join in! I've heard people say that some places' sessions are very "closed", that it's difficult getting into them, but I was warmly welcomed on my first day, and I've kept going ever since. There I've made friends, there I found my band, there I've cried on good friends' shoulders, and there I've celebrated. I like it!! Magpie
