Yes, thanks to all. I have already read a good deal about the Black Irish and the representation of the Spanish Armada in the Irish imagination as a new edition of the legend of Mil of Spain from The Book of Invasions.
However, what I am looking for is not the reasons for the Spanish influence on the Irish, which are many and as you have suggested, but the presence of 'Spain' in traditional songs. CAn you think of any more titles related to this matter? Or have you ever seen anything written or published about that?
Thanks again.
