Hi friends,

I came across a song "Chatham street" sung by a Neil Loughran. Does anyone have the lyrics for this "misfortune song"?

The first verse goes something like this:
"Kind friends oh will you listen I will sing to you a song
and if you pay attention sure I won't attain you long
I come from céili? the other day
And I saved a fifty pounds
And my friends all were expecting me that night in Eyrie? town."

Thanks for help!

cheers,

the turnover soap pig
