No, I don't think so: "I did as much as I could do to bind my love to stay From Lothian to Tintagel is a long and weary way" So he came from Scotland (Lothian) to Cornwall (Tintagel). I suppose he is standing near Tintagel in the song, but I'm not 100 % sure. T.
