I have only ever camped in the big(ish) site out of town after mates of mine reported people peeing on their tents and letting the tyres down on their caravans at the one beside the river. But if you can put up with that, I guess that's the one you are looking for. The big one outside the town is a bit quieter (not that that's ever stopped us...) As far as I know, there's no problems with dogs at either of them.
