I can't speak for any other man than my husband, but I know he wants to come home to a hug and a kiss at the end of the day, intelligent conversation, laughter, to be cherished, to be needed, a clean house (he works outside the home and I don't...so that's a fair request), a decent meal, time for himself and his hobbies (fishing, guitar playing, reading, building bamboo fly rods, etc), a wife with her own thoughts, likes, dislikes and a life of her own, (that would be me!!!) a challenging career, and all good things for our family. He wants privacy from the world and a few select people to do things with.

In a nutshell, he wants a peaceful, simple life with his family. :)
