That link from Sorcha certainly brought back memories for me. Some advice that I can give regarding looking after someone with a stroke is that they don't always like to be helped, there is a loss of being in control. There is also a bit of frustration at either not being able to do things for themselves. This can cause short tempers. Be patient and try to allow for these feelings.
