As a Brit, I found that thread fascinating. No, really. What worries me is how much of the argument for and against Kerry centres on his war record. Bush has shown himself to be a disaster as far as peace is concerned without a war record. Kerry's got one, whether or not he is telling the truth about it - perhaps that will make him less willing to enter into war on flimsy excuses. Kerry's lied. So what? Had Bush never lied? Has anyone here never lied? I just hope you'll choose your next President for positive reasons because it affects the rest of the world too.
