Rana, I miss the pubs too. I miss the chip shops, the fish and chips or getting a bag of chips to eat on the way home, I'd probably miss deep-fried mars bars, but I've never had one. I miss the crisps, especially the cheese and onion kind, the cream cakes, crumpets, pancakes, scones and teabreads, the bacon and sausages and steak and kidney pie. I miss day trips to the seaside and the hills, sometimes I even miss the rain. I don't miss the coffee, or the way its served in a tiny little cup with no refills, and I don't miss the way everything closes at 6:00pm Duckboots
