to Mgarvey: does your list include people who received special considerations and assignments based on their wealth and connections, failed to carry out their duties, took up a place in a "champagne unit" that caused some other person to take THEIR place possibly in a combat unit, and then currently refuse to comment on such activities while sending other young people to die? i didn't see that category listed. by the way, i'm wondering if you consider the question i've asked to start this thread "abusive". i didn't quite understand your last sentence and i'm curious if that's what you meant. it seems to me to be a simple question requiring a one or two sentence answer that would determine if the man now sending people to their death has any moral center or grounding that would legitimize his position.
