I had a very relaxing time, and surely did need it! Since this was my first Sunnycamp, and I only knew a few people there, it was great to meet lots of new folks..,we had a lot to talk about. I, too, liked the smaller sized group. It aallowed me to meet and spend some time with nearly everyone. Went on a hike Saturday afternoon just north of the camp in the state park on Leadbetter (sic) Point, just north of Sunnycamp, and the sun came out for a while..it was warm .. had a pleasant companion.....lots of bird life and beach and forest trails. Then back for more songs and then a fine salmon dinner (nice fish you got, Mary!) I was compelled to run up the road to the market for just the right wine...and found it at half the price I would have paid for it in Seattle. Dinner followed by concert by many of the participants doing a song apiece......then general singing for a few hours. Nice fireplace with fire burning all the time. Sunday AM early songs around the fire then big breakfast! Then with the sun out, I took a walk over to the oyster plant and watched the dredgers coming and going....then back for a bit more music before heading home (four hour drive). Would have liked to have stayed a little longer since the box players were arriving just as I was leaving, but got names for a future meeting. Enjoyed it alot..and will be there next year!!
