Thanks Stewie. I do know what dominecker is, referring to chickens. It is a dialectic variation on Dominican, whether from the Catholic order or the Republic I don't know. Dominecker chickens are black with lots of irregular white spots, so I guess Uncle Dave may have been referring to a mule with similar coloring.
