I was at the Vietnam memorial a few years ago (I'm Canadian, btw) and I saw a guy the size of a house, in leather and tattoos, crying. It broke my heart - I gave him a hug and we talked for a few minutes. He had gone through an ugly hell that most of us don't understand at all. Of course tell service people that you are proud of them and support them. Help them get home if they are stuck at an airport; help their families if they are in need while their soldier is away; help them in any way you can.

Because the fucking Bush Administration sure isn't doing it.
