Blackcatter Lyr Req: Steve Allen shows theme songs by Allen (7) Lyr Req: Steve Allen shows theme songs by Allen 20 Oct 04

As some of you know, I host a website: Blackcatter's World of TV Theme Lyrics

And am constantly looking for lyrics for the site. Gonna post some request here. Was thinking about putting a whole bunch in one thread, but they're from different generes so hopefully listing a bunch seperately will work better.

These are themes written by Steve Allen for his shows. If I learn what the lyrics are - they'll be on the Internet for everyone to know.

Composer: Steve Allen (vocal lyric added in 1954)

Closing Theme 2: "Impossible"

This melody was later re-used for a song in a 1954 TV musical play called "The Bachelor", for which Steve Allen wrote music; it was recorded by several pop ballad singers including Nat "King" Cole, Andy Williams and Aretha Franklin; it was used as Allen's Closing THEME for this show and for his later NBC Sunday Night Show (1956 - 60);
