i am an amateur astronomer and have been since my early teenage years! this is worth looking at Wednesday night!! OCTOBER'S IDEAL LUNAR ECLIPSE This Wednesday the 27th, the full Moon will undergo a deep total eclipse lasting for 1 hour 22 minutes, when it will be high in the eastern sky after dark for most observers in the Americas. Europe and much of Africa also get a good view of the eclipse, but at a less convenient time: before dawn on Thursday morning. Don't miss it -- this is the last total lunar eclipse until 2007.
