Midchuck - a worthy list. I'm assuming BMR is Black Mountain Rag. I didn't realize Doc did it out of a C capoed up. Most of the guitar pickers I know play it in G capoed up to A - so that fiddles, mandolins and banjos can join the fun. Where in the world did you hear "California Joe" I recorded an itinerent fiddle player singing it years ago, and haven't ever heard a commercial recording of it. I have seen the poem it came from by an early day scout/poet whose name I've just spaced out - damn CRS!
