Ok, it's not strictly mudcat terrain, but it's worth a shot here. I heard recently a recitation, the basic jist of wich is, a man dies and goes to the gates, but because of one or two sins, he was put into the queue for hell, and as the recitition continued each verse there was another character, nationality, or religious figure arrive, but all were told to stand in line for their sins. One recurring line was, "He too was a friend of mine, but along with me, and all the rest, he had to stand in line" It ends with "Paddy" arriving, and when told to stand in line, he fires his hat over the gates, and when st peter sends him in for it, "Paddy" locks st peter out. It is a long recitation, but quite funny. I know this is more a song site but one or two of you may be able to point me to the lyrics, or good places to check for them??
