I'm looking for the song and artist that contains this phrase: "Jimmy, Jimmy, please don't cry; or "Jenny, Jenny, please don't cry..." .... I waited ten years and more; .... I married your best friend John." It's a song about two people, an older man and a younger girl who grows up; the girl gives the man a letter, which he reads and then goes to tell her that she's too young. He leaves, and then realizes his mistake. When he returns, she's married his best friend John. Thank you.
