Sheffield University Ceilidh Society are looking for a talented but as yet undiscovered eceilidh band to play for their first ceilidh of 2005 on Friday 4th February in Sheffield (UK). The idea is to offer a new and/or undiscovered band some exposure and performance experience (and find us a great new band to dance to :-)). A bit about us: the Ceilidh Society runs ceilidhs every fortnight during university termtime, we get a (mostly) young and very enthusiastic crowd of around 100 to 150 people at our ceilidhs. For more details about us, see: http://www.ceilidhsoc.org We can provide callers and PA for our visiting bands. If anyone is interested in playing for us, or knows of anyone who might be, please PM me for more details.
