For some reason my vast Scottish song collection hasn't got words & music of this, but I have it in my head, I think, more or less, give or take. The words above are a bit off by my recollection: line 3 of verse 2 should be "He got fou, and shouted 'Hoo!'" Line four I think should be the rest of his cry, namely "It's Carnwath Mill for ever!" -- That doesn't rhyme as well, but I THINK it's more authentic. Further ruminations on request.
