Well, I am now here, thanks to Barbara's informing me of the place...also thanks to my new computer... I live in Vancouver, WA..not far from my home town of Longview, although I spent many years in Seattle...and have also lived in Newfoundland and Maine and Alabama and Virginia...I was with Seattle Song Circle for a long time and started Rainycamp a few years ago....now when I can I go to events in Portland and hope to get more stuff to go to this side of the beautiful Columbia River...

To combine with another thread about our music influences...I grew up with a musical mother from Texas...was taught by Irish nuns...went to a small Catholic boarding school (was delighted to see Diane Dugaw mentioned here..she went too) on Cowlitz Prairie where we sang a lot...was with the Women's Army Corps in the Vietnam war and we sang a lot in training...some great singers...lived in Newfoundland in graduate school...can't beat it for music....wasn't allowed to play the radio at home when I grew up...except on Sunday morning when my mother went to another Mass...so I would stay and play the Scandinavian hour...just love those polkas etc...Well that is enough for now..
