Hello you old Devonian, Sidmouth Resident you! You're making me smile again, you naughty little imp! Were you like this when you were little????! :-)

Had 'Lunch on the Beach' today! Lovely! The waves were just perfect, giving that lovely 'swooshing' noise as they tumbled over the pebbles. Fed the seagulls, (like to be a rebel in my own way!), sat on the rocks and looked at beautiful Salcombe Hill and pondered about the way the rock changes from deepest red to palest white as it goes around to Beer and beyond!

Came back through Blackmore Gardens, could hear all the Fiddles and Accordians playing in my head, walked down by the Rugby Club and up the road to Knowle Park, more commonly called The Arena. Watched all the wild rabbits up there, thought about Show of Hands (Sigh! I think about them a LOT!!! :-) :-)!!) and walked back down again to the seafront, looked up to Peak Hill and towards Jacob's Ladder, finished the shopping, thought 'What an incredibly beautiful place I live in!', imagined all the Morris Dancers wandering through town and the people just standing in the market square, playing and dancing, and Show of Hands, (see!, told you!) and Fiddles and Mandocellos and.........!

And then I came home, came in here and sat down to write.........

Beautiful Sassy Sidmouth!

Lizzie :-)
