Dear Mr. and Mrs. Giggs,

Really sad to hear that you can't even be bothered to e mail Tony Day about your 'camping' arrangements, although you can be bothered to come back to Mudcat and write. I would think that Tony Day is FAR too busy with other e mails from truly interested people to come on this board.

However, I'm very much afraid that I have to say that if you are prepared to 'give up' on Sidmouth so easily then perhaps you had better not come.

I know! I know! This DOES sound harsh, but the reason I say this Mr. and Mrs. Giggs is because Sidmouth Folk Week 2005 and Sidmouth Festivals 2006 and onwards need all the SUPPORT and LOVE that they can get!! Sidmouth 2005 does not need people who can't even be bothered to e mail Tony Day who will give them the answers which apparently they so crave.

I think some words that sum up, for me, the committment by so many people to continue this Precious Jewel of a Festival are from Mary Frye and Wilbur Skeels, you may have heard them before, but to me they are very appropriate to Sidmouth 2005 and for many many Festivals thereafter.....

Do not stand at my grave and weep,I am not there, I do not sleep.....
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.....
I am the song that will never end, for I am the love of family and friend.

Please do not waste your opportunity to e mail Tony Day, Mr. and Mrs. Briggs, else you may find the camping site is full! I would be very upset if you missed 2005 for the wrong reasons.

Lizzie :-) :-)
