We were once dogsitting for a week - and the dog was called Truls. A rather common name in Norway. The neighbour's name was also Truls, and his wife was out of town for a few days. I can only imagine what sort of things the neighbours were talking about after my mum walked around in the garden, shouting for Truls and telling him she had a treat for him... @jOhn: why don't you leave a few toasts on her doorstep for her?
