Ya, so I just got back from the Ship, and it was good, but I find that the scene is very tight.. like, they are not as welcoming to newcomers as they could be. It's thriving nonetheless, but I wonder if other folk clubs are like this, as I haven't been to many.

So.. Is it a good sign or a bad one if you actually have to have talent to play at a folk club???
