I WAS THERE!! It was great to see/hear him again in the South. We all love him to bits down here. (All in the nicest possible taste you understand!) The reaction from folk I've spoken to was very positive. I was very privileged to do a support spot on the night. A chance to give the D-18GL an airing in public. (How you getting on with yours Burntstump!?). To my complete surprise the great man asked me to join him on "When will you call again.." at the end. I think we might go on the road as "Don and Phil"!! Very disappointed I won't be able to join the fun on 14th. Its a bit too far from Dorset for a midweek gig. See what I can do about Market Rasen next March. Have a great evening anyway. Sure you will.
