I'm actually rather surprised (and pleasantly so) that there have been a couple of favorable comments on here re: this... I guess there has been a slight bit of thread creep though. To get back to that, I would say that Karaoke is music, insofar as a key component is music-based, the same as going to a dance with a DJ is music. I would not say that it is live music, despite the live component of it. Brian
