Kendall, did you leave the room before or after I arrived? If after, I apologise MOST sincerely. I was blissfully unaware that it was a no smoking room, and would have refrained had I known, or been asked to stop. When I arrived there were ashtrays on the tables and smokers present so it didn't cross my mind. I always try to be considerate in such matters. I have other friends who cannot, for reasons medical or otherwise tolerate a smoky atmosphere, my father being one of them. Once again, apologies if I was one of the people who spoiled your evening. Pete.
