Holidays can be HARD! Here's a hug for you (and you can send one back if you like!). I'm in a new place and not yet reunited with my own bed, couch, and other worldly possessions, and REALLY miss my good friends in D.C., so these holidays have been harder than usual. AND, it doesn't help that terminal cheer and jollity seem to be the only socially acceptable emotions between Thanksgiving and January 2. So I won't tell you to smile or cheer up. I'll just tell you that I wish you warmth and hope wherever you can find it (it can be found sometimes in the least expected places). And if you want to do something extremely silly, search for Elf Bowling on Google (not "Super Elf Bowling" or any of the others. Just "Elf Bowling.") Download it--it's free--and play a couple of games. It is so truly stupid it makes me laugh every time. Love, Kathy
