Every 4th Monday of the month, there is a small session/gig in the Market Arms in Ayr. It consists of a guest or two and every one else, if they want to, doing a song or playing . If you want more details on it then contact Graham Charlton (who also helps to run the Girvan Folk Festival) on 01292 285168 for more info.
There was also another small music session in Ayr, I think it's the last Sunday each month, he should have info on if that still runs as well.
