Dreaded Thumbpick Folk music on XM and Sirius (6) RE: Folk music on XM and Sirius 29 Dec 04

Ron,

If I want to listen to folk music, I generally listen to recordings that I have collected over the past 50 years or so. Since my interest lies almost entirely in the traditional or roots music vein, that's the easiest place to find it.

I listen to a variety of different programming on XM: classical, popular music from the forties, old time radio programs, NPR, etc.

I live in rural Vermont where there is very little over the air reception so XM has been a nice source of entertainment for me.
