Sad to hear about his passing. He played behind a whos who of rock legends and played some terrifically influencial breaks and rythm patterns. I heard he was in a car accident in the early 60s and was unable to play due to a serious hand injury and Tiny Timbrell took up his guitar duties for Elvis etc. Maybe somebody knows a bit more about this? I am always keen to hear of what the session musicians of the 50s and 60s are up to now. Charlie McCoy, Tommy Tedesco, Carole Kaye, Hal Blaine, Bob Moore, Reggie Young, Pete Drake and so on.Any details much appreciated.Deepest Sympathies to Hanks family and friends.

Keep On Rockin'

Sidewinder.
