The handsome, athletic young stud was walking down the street when he was suddenly, and violently overcome by an acute pain which started at the nape of the neck and spread rapidly to affect the whole of his head cumulating in a pulsating, blinding pain above the eyes. He managed to get to the doctor who sent him to hospital for an immediate operation. The consultant explained that the cause of the pain was an acute malfunction in a testicle and that the only cure was remove of the affected part. Reluctantly the young man agreed and submitted himself to the knife. When he awoke, despite feeling a little sore hr had no pain in the head. With jaunty step he set off down the street. He had not gone more than 100 metres when the overwhelming and debilitating pain in the head returned. He was once again rushed to hospital. "Oh dear," said the consultant, "I feared that might happen, the original operation only had a 50/50 chance of success. The only certain cure is removal of the other testicle." With great reluctance the young man agreed.
When he left hospital for the second time he felt fine.
He felt that a celebration was in order, but how could a man in his somewhat reduced condition celebrate? He decided to get a new suit so he popped into his tailor's. During the course of having the inside leg measured the tailor asked "Which side do you dress sir?"
"Dress, what do you mean dress?"
"Yes dress sir"
"What do you mean; I do not wear a dress!"
"Dress sir, you know which side do your er..hem.. you know sir your balls hang?" whispered a rather embarrassed tailor.
"Why, does it matter?" enquired the young man.
"Oh yes sir, if your trousers are cut wrongly you get this sudden violent pain that starts at the back of your head and moves rapidly...."
