To The Muse: Gee, was it that obvious? BG Janis probably took a year off her life for every performance she gave. Sorry to say I too never got to see her in concert, but I heard second hand from others that had seen her, from the level of intensity in her performances it was evident she wouldn't be able to maintain that energy forever. So sad, like countless others around that time who left a legendary and timeless (IMO) legacy, but probably paid for it with an early demise. Regards, Neil (who thinks folk is fine, but is here for the blues)
