As if the events in South East Asia aren't overwhelming enough ... the spammers have started.. If you receive an email regarding 1) a lost, little boy and asking you to forward it everyone you know "as it's the only chance there is to find his family" DO NOT PASS IT ON ...... in some instances it has also contained a virus attachmement. (The Observer, 09 January 2005, second contender for 2005 Shit of the Year after No 1, Christopher Pierson, convicted of sending malicious hoax emails to relatives of victims informing them that they were confirmed dead) 2) Asking everyone you know (in your address book) to visit a site - more hits = more food aid .. THIS IS A SPAM! I know most 'catters are savvy about these spams ... but I've just received both via email from others who have been deceived by them. Nem x
